Stayed one night due to a funeral in a nearby town. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast includes hot option (spinach & Swiss quiche was great).
Excellent staff. Great service. Rooms are threadbare. There's zero pictures or decor on the walls. But who needs that anyway. Shower nice with good water pressure on 3rd fl and terrific breakfast.
I stay at this hotel once or twice each year. It is quiet, clean and comfortable with very easy access to route 220. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating. I agree that the breakfast bar is very basic. The rate was on the high side and I will likely check other nearby hotels next time.
I can not say enough positives about the experience I have had here at the Rockingham Fairfield. I work a wild work schedule and the staff always made made sure I had coffee yogurt before I headed off to work. Ms. Robyn and Ms. Tracy welcomed me every single day with the warmest of welcomes. They we interested in who I was and treated me like family not just a guest. Having them there for sure help brighten my day. The staff at this hotel make the stay great.
I’ve stayed here about five times now whenever I’m in the area, and it’s consistently a great experience. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Special shout-out to Lynn, who was covering the breakfast dining area—she was so happy and pleasant and really went out of her way to make sure I got all the good stuff. She even packed me a to-go bag, which was such a nice touch! Also worth mentioning: the breakfast here is actually very good. I’ll definitely keep staying here when I’m in town.
We will be back! Lovely breakfast bar that’s well taken care of! Perfect location in proximity to Coleman Creek! The room was clean and comfortable. The manager will hold the elevator while we bring in our gun cases lol.

The Fairfield Inn is the place to stay in Rockingham. The staff is outstanding- friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms are exceptionally clean - ours was very comfortable. And the breakfast is more than adequate. Lynn who manages the breakfast area is a delight - she is engaging and customer focused in a very southern way. She makes you feel like you are a guest at her breakfast table - being sure that everything is satisfactory and up to your expectations. There are plenty of places to eat within a mile of the hotel - every kind of fast or non fast food place. I compliment the management- everyone we dealt with from the check-in to the check-out has a real customer satisfaction focus. They are very knowledgeable on the surrounding area and very open to help and make recommendations. I've traveled a lot in my life and this Fairfield earned a 5 star!
